The DAPA Outreach Team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. An individual is in crisis, and the DAPA Outreach Team responds to the emergency call from a family member, a friend, a personal care provider, school, court or other interested party. And the DAPA Outreach Team responds no matter where or when that call is made.
While the DAPA Outreach Team doesn't perform treatment, it helps to make treatment possible by serving as the vital link connecting the individual to the right care or treatment.
From intervention and assessment of a patient's needs, to committing
the patient, to arranging housing, to transportation to treatment locations,
to clinical medication study appointments, the DAPA Outreach Team
plays a fundamental role in an individual's moving from a desperate
situation to
one filled with hope.
