The DAPA Institute is unique in Houston. Not only does it deliver state mandated drug offender and prevention courses to individuals who have been ordered by the courts to take special classes, but it also provides mental health professionals and interns with a way to expand their knowledge, skills and expertise.

Patients who come to us from the courts are in every bit as
much need as anyone else who is treated here, and dual
disorder sufferers are often the ones left behind, or left to
fall between the cracks, or worse. With years of treating this
distinct and often disenfranchised group, we've gained a
special understanding in how to best serve them.
